Terms of service
Effective date: 1 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SIDDLAB ("we", "us") about your use of the RallySpace app, on your phone or in a browser ("RallySpace"). By creating an account or using RallySpace you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use RallySpace.
1. What RallySpace is
RallySpace helps people run sports clubs: keeping a member list, assigning skill grades, and running events where results are recorded: open play, where players are rotated onto courts, and later tournaments. RallySpace is a tool for organisers. It does not organise, supervise or insure any activity itself.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You must give a real email address and keep your password, or the Google account you sign in with, to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not create an account for someone else or pretend to be someone you are not.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been used without your permission.
3. Clubs and their organisers
A club is created and run by its Owner and Admins ("organisers"), not by us. Organisers decide who joins, what grade each member holds, when events happen and how results are recorded. RallySpace records those decisions; it does not make them.
If you are an organiser:
- You are responsible for the club's name, logo, description and other content, and for the way you treat members.
- When you add a person by name before they have an account, you must have a reasonable basis to do so — they are someone who plays with your club — and you must remove the record if they ask.
- A club must always have an Owner. To delete your own account you must first hand the club to someone else or delete it.
If you are a member: you can leave a club at any time. Your play history within that club remains part of the club's record, with your name removed if you delete your account (see the Privacy policy).
4. Acceptable use
Do not use RallySpace to:
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or post content that is hateful, obscene or unlawful;
- impersonate a person or club, or misrepresent your relationship with one;
- upload a photo or logo you do not have the right to use;
- interfere with the service — probing, scraping, overloading, or trying to reach data that is not yours;
- break any law.
Club names, logos, descriptions and profile content are provided by users. We do not review them in advance, but we may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms. To report content, email [email protected].
5. Sport carries risk
Playing sport can cause injury. By taking part in an event you do so at your own risk. RallySpace provides no supervision, no assessment of anyone's fitness or ability, and no guarantee about the venue, the equipment or the other players. Skill grades are the opinion of the club's organisers and nothing more.
6. Availability and offline use
We aim to keep RallySpace running but do not promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. RallySpace keeps a copy of an active event on the host's device so an event can continue without an internet connection; data recorded offline is sent to our servers when the connection returns. Only one device at a time can record an active event; other devices can follow it but not change it. If hosting is moved to another device, anything the first device recorded offline and had not yet sent is lost.
We may require you to update RallySpace to keep using it. When an older version would no longer work correctly, or could damage your club's records, the app asks you to update before you continue; on the web, the page reloads.
7. Your content and our software
You own what you add to RallySpace (your profile, your club's details, your photos). You give us permission to store, display and back it up so that RallySpace can work, including showing it to the members of your clubs. That permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups, which are removed on their normal schedule.
We own RallySpace itself — its software, design and name. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. Do not copy, modify, sell or reverse-engineer it. RallySpace is built on open-source software; the licences are listed in the app's menu under About → Open-source licences.
8. Price
RallySpace is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will tell you in advance, explain what they cost, and update these terms before charging anyone.
9. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, or as described at rallyspace.app/legal/delete-account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering RallySpace. Sections 5, 7, 10 and 11 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
10. No warranty and limits on liability
RallySpace is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for injury arising from any sporting activity, or for the actions of other users. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free service is nil.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are decided by the courts of Ontario, unless the law of the place where you live requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. For significant changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use RallySpace after that means you accept the new terms.
